We will only process your Personal Data where necessary for the purposes of our legitimate interests in providing you with information about our products or responding to concerns in relation to our products.

What personal information we collect and where do we store data

We collect the following personal information in relation to Medical information requests:

• Your Name and Job Title
• Your contact details, which may include postal address, email address and/or telephone number

Your name, job title and contact details are retained in the Ferring group data centre in Germany and is communicated to the UK internal secured server. Operational employees who are authorised to handle medical information enquiries have access to this information.

We archive all the information for Medical Information enquiries in the Ferring group data centre in Germany. All the data relating to Medical Information enquiries only are retained for at least 6 years and deleted within 10 years.

We do not expect a child to seek medical information and therefore do not hold name or contact details for children.

We do not use the details provided for any other purpose.

Data collection by third party

We use a specialist medical information third party to handle medical enquiries. All the collected personal and contact information is passed to Ferring Pharmaceuticals Ltd. The third party will maintain a medical information database on behalf of Ferring. This is stored on a third party owned server which is off-site in a data centre in Croatia. All information is stored by the third party for a maximum of 20 years. Access to the medical information database is restricted to third party operational employees who are authorised to handle medical information enquiries on behalf of Ferring, including scientific and management personnel.

How we ensure your privacy is maintained

All the data collected for Medical information enquiries are stored within the Ferring Group data centre in Germany and on a third party owned data centre in Croatia. Personal and contact information will be retained for at least 6 years and deleted within 10 years.

Your legal rights relating to your personal data

• Right to access and rectification: You have the right to request a copy of the information we hold about you, as well as the right to request corrections, if the data is incorrect. We may require you to provide proper identification before we comply with any request to access or correct Personal Data.
• Right to erasure: You have the right to erase information that has been collected and processed.
• Right to data portability: You have the right to request that we transfer the personal data we hold about you to another party, except if this cannot be permitted for reasons of public interest.

The data subject has the right to contact or lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority and our Global Privacy Office via email privacy@ferring.com.

Any changes to this Privacy Notice will be communicated on the Ferring Pharmaceuticals Ltd website www.ferring.co.uk. We recommend you consult our Privacy Notice periodically to review any changes and to keep informed about our ongoing commitment to respecting the right to privacy and to providing the highest possible level of data protection.
